penis enlargement

This simple 45-60 minute outpatient procedure can transform your life forever!

Many men are very unhappy with their penis size – sometimes to the point of feeling embarrassed to reveal themselves nude or feeling shy about seeking sexual partners or engaging in sexual intercourse. Whether you desire a longer, girthier, or overall larger penis, penis enlargement is possible with the Penuma® implant.

What is Penis Enlargement Surgery?

Any procedure that involves a surgical process to elongate and/or widen a man’s penis is considered a penis enlargement surgery.
Though there are many different types of penis enlargement surgery, only one implant has been cleared by FDA for penile aesthetic surgery: the Himplant. Our very own Dr. Elist founded the Penuma procedure after dedicating himself to finding an enlargement solution that achieves a natural look and feel without interfering with penile function. For years, he worked with a group of distinguished scientists and urologists to develop and improve the Penuma design. Since 2004, thousands of men have changed their lives by deciding to get the Penuma penile implant.

Penile Implant

Thousands of men have successfully undergone the Penuma surgery since its creation in 2004, thus improving their self-confidence and self-esteem. On average, men who undergo the Penuma procedure see an increased girth of 1 to 2 inches. Penile length (flaccid) gains have also been reported. The Himplant can have an impressive visual effect on the flaccid penis, turning men into “showers” rather than “growers”. As always, individual results may vary.

What is the Himplant Made of?

The Himplant is a soft, medical-grade silicone implant that does not contain any liquids or gel. It is the same material used in most cosmetic implant procedures, such as silicone chin and buttock implants. The only difference is that the Himplant is customized to each individual and unique in its shape and placement.

Benefits of the Himplant

Benefits of the Himplant
On average, Penuma has demonstrated penis size increases of 1 to 2 inches. Potential benefits from a successful Penuma surgery include:
  • Natural feel and appearance
  • No interference with achieving an erection
  • No imposition on penile function
  • A heightened sense of confidence and masculinity
  • Completely customized to fit your own needs

Individual results may vary. A detailed list of potential complications, risks, benefits, and alternatives, including no surgery, will be discussed in advance. Erect length changes, if any, are unpredictable.

Length and Girth Surgery
The Himplant by Dr. Elist has been shown to increase both girth and flaccid length. It is a short outpatient procedure that can transform your life.
Increase Penis Girth
A man’s penile girth can be a source of anxiety and low self-confidence. Thankfully, the answer for a wider, thicker penis is here. It is possible to increase penis girth with the Himplant, the option for men who desire a solution to increase their penile girth and sense of masculinity with a tried and tested surgical procedure. The worldwide average penis girth is 3.61 inches. With the Himplant, our very own Dr. James Elist has documented an average increase of 1-2 inches in girth in his many Penuma procedures.
Other enhancement procedures like penis fillers, dermal fat grafting, or AlloDerm aren’t nearly as effective, carry a higher risk of side effects, and lack the natural look and feel achieved with Himplant enhancement. Unlike these methods, the Himplant is FDA-cleared for penile aesthetic surgery. The potential benefits of a penile widening procedure with Penuma are many – here are a few benefits that our past patients have noticed:
  • Enhanced girth (increased overall penis shaft circumference of 1-2 inches on average based on past results)
  • Corrective measure for unwanted mild to moderate penile curvature
  • Correction of buried penis
  • Increased self-confidence and sense of masculinity
  • Natural feel and appearance in both flaccid and erect states
Individual results may vary. A detailed list of potential complications, risks, benefits, and alternatives, including no surgery, will be discussed in advance. Erect length changes, if any, are unpredictable. An initial consultation with one of our personal consultants followed by a consultation with Dr. Elist will help you to assess whether this procedure is right for you.

Increase Penis length

Much like men who are unsatisfied with their penile girth, individuals who are unhappy with their penis length can suffer from feelings of low self-esteem and a decreased sense of masculinity.
Other men desire to increase their penile flaccid length as a way to correct or prevent health issues like buried penis syndrome. With the Himplant, men have a male enhancement option that is FDA-cleared and proven to increase flaccid length while correcting penile health issues. Other penile lengthening methods like suspensory ligament release, jelqing, or penis extenders can come with serious side effects. For this reason, we do not offer or recommend these methods. There are many potential benefits that come with a successful Penuma penile lengthening procedure – here are a few benefits that our past patients have noticed.

Penis Enlargement Surgery Cost

A typical procedure has an out-of-pocket cost of only about $17,000. There is a deposit of $2,500 required at the time of scheduling. Penuma is not covered by insurance, but various financing options are available through our financing partners. The total cost of the Himplant ranges from $16,000 to $25,000. This range is wide because some patients may require additional services such as adult circumcision or suprapubic fat removal as a prerequisite for the Penuma procedure. Reviews & Testimonials From Real Patients

Dr. Elist has helped thousands of men to achieve the increase in penile size that they have always desired – and the results are overwhelmingly positive. Have a look at these patient testimonials and hear it directly from the men whose lives Dr. Elist has helped to change for the better.
Patient 1:
This patient is a military veteran who served in Afghanistan and received the Purple Heart. When he returned, he was unable to work out due to his injuries, and his PTSD caused him to develop weight issues and added to insecurities that he always felt about his size. “I can work on my brain, I can work on my muscles, I can heal my body, but I can’t change [my penis size].” He decided to look into Penuma surgery to increase his self-confidence and decided to undergo the procedure.
“I noticed the difference in size instantly. It was shocking. It makes me more self-confident, and it will make me a better lover to my wife because I’m more confident in what I have. I would recommend the Himplant to anybody who is looking into it. To me, it’s no different from breast augmentation for women.”
Patient 2:
Before the procedure, this patient was a bodybuilder and a candidate to become an LA County Sheriff. When he broke his spine in an accident, he couldn’t pursue those dreams anymore.
“I had to watch my body meltdown before I looked into any options to try to fix it. When I found Dr. Elist and the Himplant, I was impressed by the clarity and I understood the whole process even before my first consultation. I liked how quick the actual procedure was, and the recovery time was super fast. When I saw my results, I noticed how much it improved my confidence and self-image. Romantically, I have a lot more calm confidence. Every time I’ve told [a partner], it was a shock and they had no idea.”

Penis Enlargement Technique

We have developed a new surgical technique for the insertion of the Himplant called the “Concealed technique.” In this new method, a small incision is made in the scrotal area to insert the Himplant.
After full recovery, the incision is nearly invisible. The Penuma Concealed technique can significantly improve the aesthetic result of the procedure. Other potential benefits of the Penuma Concealed technique can be:
  • Less operative time
  • Lower likelihood of seroma and any post-op retraction
  • Less need for post-op drain
Most eligible Penuma patients are candidates for the Concealed technique. Dr. Elist will discuss your surgical options with you prior to your procedure to ensure that you receive the surgical method best fit for your anatomy and physiology. Individual results may vary. Dr. Elist and the medical staff will discuss the potential risks, complications, benefits, and alternatives, including no surgery, prior to any procedure.

Before the Procedure

Step 1: Submit Your Inquiry for the Penuma Penile Implant
As a first step for penis enlargement Beverly Hills patients are required to submit an inquiry for the Penuma Penile Implant – you will be personally assigned a Patient Consultant who will assist with your questions and provide guidance at every step of the journey.
Step 2: Consult With Your Dedicated Patient Consultant
During the first preoperative phase, our medical team will determine if you are a suitable candidate for the procedure. Your Beverly Hills penis enlargement consultant will provide you with the instructions on how to obtain medical clearance in advance of the procedure (medical clearance is required for all patients to ensure utmost safety).
Additional Reading
A Penuma Penile Implant candidate must be:
  • Circumcised (Dr. Elist offers circumcision surgery for candidates interested in penile enhancement)
  • Not suffering from any serious health conditions (e.g., severe infectious diseases, poorly controlled diabetes/high blood pressure, prolonged use of blood thinning medication, etc.) or any major psychological conditions
  • If you have a history of penile surgery, please discuss it with your Patient Consultant
  • Prepared to follow all pre- and post-operative instructions (these instructions will be discussed in detail with each patient)
The initial preoperative consultation can be conducted over the phone or in person (based on patient preference and current Covid restrictions).
Step 3: In-Person Preoperative Consultation
Once you are confirmed for the Himplant procedure, we recommend that you arrive in the Los Angeles area at least one day prior to your scheduled procedure. For out-of-towners, we can recommend several hotel options. During your in-person preoperative consultation for penis enlargement Beverly Hills urologist, Dr. Elist, will break down the details of your procedure, as well as all preoperative and postoperative instructions for successful preparation and subsequent recovery. A detailed list of potential complications, risks, benefits, and alternatives, including no surgery, will be discussed as well as reasonable post-operative expectations.

During the Procedure

The Himplant procedure is a relatively short outpatient procedure that typically allows patients home the same day. During the procedure, the patient is first sedated with anesthesia. Then, Beverly Hills penis enlargement expert, Dr. Elist, will make a small incision at the base of the pubic area above the penis or in the scrotal area.

He will then insert the customized Himplant sheath through the incision and fit it to the most optimal position along the penile shaft. Once the Penuma sheath is fitted to the penis, Dr. Elist and his surgical team will close the pubic incision or the scrotal incision and clean the area thoroughly to help prevent infection.

After the Procedure

After the Himplant procedure, you will spend 60 to 90 minutes in the recovery room, then you will be on your way. Our office will refresh you on proper postoperative conduct and send you home with post-operative instructions.

As with any surgical procedure that involves anesthesia, you are not allowed to drive yourself home. We require that you coordinate with a friend or family member to be present at the surgery center so that they are prepared to pick you up and escort you back to your home or hotel. If not, we can provide you with information on a nurse service that can support you.

Recovery & Aftercare From Penis Enlargement Surgery

Beverly Hills penis enlargement surgery patients should plan to stay in the area for at least 3 to 4 days after the Himplant procedure. We require that you schedule multiple follow-up exams after your Penuma surgery to ensure that all aspects of recovery are coming along well.
It is possible that the physician may require that you remain in the area for a longer period of time. You can typically return to your normal daily activities within 2-4 days after the procedure, and you may resume sexual activities upon clearance by the clinic (typically within 6 to 8 weeks though it may vary by patient). Despite these estimates, individual results and post-operative healing progress will vary by patient. Your own personal recovery process will be monitored and outlined in your follow-up examinations. Transform the quality of your life forever with this simple 45-60 minute outpatient procedure!

Is the Penuma Penile Implant Removable?
Yes, the Himplant is removable. According to a five-year, 400-patient IRB-approved, peer-reviewed study on the effectiveness of the Penuma penile implant, only 3% of patients had adverse events that led to implant removal.

Comparing Penile Enhancement Methods

While there are other penis enlargement techniques out there, Dr. Elist does not offer or recommend any other procedure than the Himplant.
Real Penis Enlargement
The Himplant has helped thousands of men to increase flaccid penile length and girth, and with FDA clearance for cosmetic use, it is the most effective option for male enhancement. While other, less effective techniques have worked for some men, they can often result in permanent penile disfigurement and/or loss of function. In fact, the American Urological Association has directly advised against many of these methods. The chart below compares a few of these techniques with the Himplant:*Individual results may vary.
What is it?
FDA-cleared silicone implant placed into the penis. It is designed as a enhancement procedure to increase a man’s flaccid length and girth.
The suspensory ligament attaches the penis to the pubic bone. By cutting or “releasing” the suspensory ligament, the internal base of the penis protrudes out further, providing a potential increase in penile length. We do not offer or recommend this procedure because it can lead to scarring and retraction, potentially shortening the penile length.
AlloDerm is a tissue matrix that facilitates the migration of new cells and blood vessels into body tissue. AlloDerm can be used to potentially increase penile girth when grafted onto the penile shaft. We do not offer or recommend this procedure because it can lead to potentially severe side effects, such as penile skin infections and/or skin necrosis.
Dermal Fat Grafts are typically used to close non-healing wounds on the body. In the context of male enhancement, dermal fat is harvested from the crease of the buttocks and then grafted onto the penis to increase penile girth. We do not offer or recommend this procedure as it can lead to a host of complications like donor site infection, fat tissue fibrosis, and/or detachment of the graft (failure to take).
Fillers material (collagen, fat, or hyaluronic acid) is injected into the penile shaft with the purpose of increasing penile length and girth. However, we do not recommend or offer this procedure as any increases in size are temporary and can often lead to deformities in the penis.
This procedure removes excess fat from the suprapubic region (the area from which the penis protrudes) via lipectomy. For those with buried penis syndrome, this procedure can reveal the entire penile shaft and relieve symptoms like urinary tract issues and skin irritation.
PMMA fillers contain a mixture of microscopic polymer beads and bovine collagen gel. PMMA fillers are FDA-cleared to fill facial wrinkles and correct nasolabial folds. When injected into the penis, PMMA fillers can often deform the penis or even lead to erectile dysfunction. Because of these potential side effects, we do not recommend or offer this procedure.
Flaccid penile extension with weights or traction devices is not recommended by our offices. In order to see any potential lengthening results, extension devices must be worn/utilized for multiple hours, every day, for months. In the best possible cases, the penis is lengthened by 0.5 inches but at the cost of bruising and constant discomfort.
Jelqing is a penis stretching exercise that is similar to penile extenders. It involves massaging one’s penis tissue, stretching the skin to create “micro-tears” that expand flaccid and erect size when they heal. There is no scientific evidence to support claims that jelqing works.
Penis pumps consist of a plastic tube that fits around the penis, and a “pump” that pulls air from the chamber to create a vacuum and dilate penile blood vessels. Penis pumps are typically used by men who suffer from erectile dysfunction, though they can be used in healthy individuals to facilitate “larger” erections.
None of these pills have been proven to work, and some contain potentially hazardous ingredients that can damage the liver. The pills that some men claim to have “worked wonders” are actually just erectile dysfunction pills masked as an enlargement solution.
Weight loss is the most trusted, safe, non-surgical solution to “increase” penis size. When a man loses weight, he burns away suprapubic fat – which in turn reveals more of the penile shaft.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does penis enlargement surgery cost?
A complete Penuma Penile Implant procedure can range from $17,000 - $25,000. All pricing will be discussed with your Patient Care consultant in advance. Please note that we work with several financing companies, some that may offer some period of interest-free financing.
I want to get the largest size of the Himplant. Is that possible?
The physician will determine the maximum size that is safe for you based on your individual circumstances. All implants are customized in the operating room for the individual patient and are designed to maximize results in a safe manner.
How does penis enlargement surgery work?
The Himplant is inserted through an incision at the base of the pubic area or scrotal area and fitted to the penis. Other enlargement surgery techniques may utilize fillers, ligament release, or fat grafting to achieve a larger length or girth. However, we do not offer these services, and we don’t recommend them based on questionable efficacy and potential side effects.
Can I increase penis girth or length separately with the Himplant?
The Himplant is designed to increase both penile length and girth. You may be able to increase penis girth alone by choosing a Penuma size that aligns with the length of your penis.
Is the Himplant removable?
Yes, the Himplant is a completely removable procedure. However, an overwhelming majority of men are satisfied with the outcome of their procedure.
How long must I abstain from sexual activity after the Penuma procedure?
Patients are expected to abstain from all sexual activity until given clearance by the medical staff. Clearance is usually given 6 to 8 weeks after the procedure, but this can vary based on an individual’s healing.
Do penis enlargement pills work?
There are no penis enlargement pills that have been proven to work. Most are either simply a placebo at best, while others can be potentially harmful to the body. We don’t recommend taking any kind of pill that claims to increase penis size.
With the Himplant, am I always erect/hard?
No. The implant fits naturally with your penis whether you are in a flaccid/soft state or erect/hard state.
Can my partner tell that I did penis enlargement surgery? Is the implant noticeable?
The physician makes no incisions on the penis. The only incision is in the suprapubic or scrotal area and maybe hidden overtime under the pubic hair. Patients report that if a partner has not seen the patient’s penis prior to the procedure, the partner typically cannot tell that there is a silicone implant present. Nevertheless, we do expect that patients discuss this procedure with their partners well in advance of the journey.
What about non-surgical penis enlargement methods?
Unfortunately, no non-surgical method for penile enlargement has proven to be effective. Non-surgical methods to achieve a larger penis can include pumps, pills, or jelqing, but unfortunately, there is no proof that these methods work and can sometimes be damaging to patients.
